There are instances when straight photography won't do. In order to tell more dimensional stories, layers are necessary. I began collaging imagery as a method to visually explain time dimensions in my fine art photography as well as to appease my painting and sculpture background. Once I had the style down I began applying it to corporate communication projects. I worked in this way before there was Photoshop mostly on 4x5 inch transparency film layering in my exposures with no retouching. Although my tools have changed since then, I still enjoy conceptual projects now producing works digitally which aligns with modern work flow situations. Numerous fine art pieces were licensed for music album covers. I maintain stock files of images available for licensing. All of my photography is registered with the Library of Congress.
