Getting to know people who will be in front of my lens is something I really enjoy. By listening to their desires and stories I begin the process of collaborating. The session maybe a formal portrait, a business head shot, or editorial portrait so it is important for us to build a connection. Then, fusing together the elements of light, composition, texture, color and point of view to tell an authentic story. My intention is to create environmental portraits where personality and real life converge for a true narrative of humanity and dignity. Working on location allows for the person to feel comfortable and have the flexibility to meet some place indicative to their story.
